Sceptile Giratina

Energy

4 Sceptile EX 4 VS Seeker 4 Double Dragon Energy

2 Sceptile Spirit Link
2 Forest of Giant Plants
2 Professor Birch’s Observations
1 Professor’s Letter
1 Energy Retriever
1 Xerosic
1 Hex Maniac

Hints / Things to think about

  • This deck plays very differently depending on your Matchup, some games you will focus heavy on Sceptile EX second attack. And at others Giratina EX ability and attacks. If you play the deck alot be sure to learn and understand when yo focus on which Pokémon.
  • M Giratina EX is great for healing but also for putting those two extra Energy cards on to your Giratina EX on your bench.
  • Sceptile EX first attack may not seem but much. But some fortunate flips can turn a game around,
  • Ariados attack stops your opponent from retreating, in a bad situation remember this as you can Lysandre out a weak or Pokémon without energy you can stall the game (hopefully) for a few turns.

Pokémon TCG deck – New Night March [Standard]

Hello Nurglings!

Main Pokémon: New Night March
Deck Name: New Night March
Format: Standard 2015 – 2016

Night March

Pokémon

Trainer

Energy

4 Joltik 4 Acro Bike 4 Double Colorless Energy
4 Lampent 4 Battle Compressor 2 Psychic Energy
4 Pumpkaboo 4 Trainer’s Mail 1 Lightning Energy
3 Shaymin EX 4 Ultra Ball
4 VS Seeker
4 Dimension Valley
3 Professor Sycamore
2 Revive
2 Switch
2 Lysandre
2 Muscle Band
1 Hex Maniac
1 Professor Birch’s Observations
1 Teammates

Hints / Things to think about

  • Ultra Ball is not only a way to find Shaymin EX and discarding Night March creatures. You can also use it to search for a extra Night March creature in the early turns to discard when you play a card like Sycamore.
  • If able, always try and go for the 2 price knockouts, it truly does not matter if this gives your opponent a chance to get Knockout the turn after. The important thing is to be ahead, not to save your Pokémon.
  • Is that a Pyroar? Hex Maniac is the answer!
  • We no longer have Mew EX as our extra/good attacker, but we do have Revive to give us a second chance with those creatures.
  • If you can not afford Shaymins: Try and get a 2-2 line of Milotic with the Sparkling Ripples ability (Primal Clash)

Pokémon TCG deck – Noivern / Crobat [Standard]

Hello Nurglings!

Main Pokémon: Noivern / Crobat
Deck Name: Noisy Bats
Format: Standard 2015 – 2016

Crobat Noivern

Pokémon

Trainer

Energy

4 Zubat 4 VS Seeker 4 Double Dragon Energy
4 Golbat 3 Professor Sycamore 3 Psychic Energy
4 Crobat 3 Ultra Ball 3 Darkness Energy
4 Noibat 3 Crushing Hammer
4 Noivern 3 Super Scoop Up
2 Shaymin EX 2 Repeat Ball
2 Lysandre
2 Professor Birch’s Observations
2 Muscle Band
2 Head Ringer
1 Xerosic
1 AZ

Hints / Things to think about

  • Do not be affraid to put Noivern active even if you can not attack with it the same turn. Always remember that it can survive becuase of it’s ability!
  • Lysandre can easily be used to pull out a expensive retreat cost Pokémon for your opponent. This way you may get a turn or two to attack with Noivern without being attacked, that can often be better than just going for knockouts.
  • Having a Zubat, Golbat and Crobat on the field is a good way to max out your bat damage with a Super Scoop Up or AZ.
  • Repeat Ball in hand? ALWAYS try and think on what you want to use it on before starting to evolve your bats.

Pokémon TCG deck – Mienshao [Standard]

Hello Nurglings!

Main Pokémon: Mienshao / Hawlucha
Deck Name: Mienshao
Format: Standard 2015 – 2016

Mienshao

Pokémon

Trainer

Energy

4 Hawlucha 4 VS Seeker 4 Strong Energy
4 Mienfoo 4 Fighting Stadium 4 Fighting Energy
4 Mienshao 4 Focus Sash
2 Shaymin EX 4 Robo Substitute
1 Landorus 3 Professor Sycamore
3 Professor Birch’s Observations
3 Muscle Band
3 Korrina
2 Level Ball
2 Ultra Ball
2 Lysandre
1 Professor’s Letter
1 Sacred Ash
1 Switch

Hints / Things to think about

  • This deck has some incredible damage output with some tiny Pokémon. Together with Muscle Band, Strong Energy and Fithing Stadium even the weekest can do plenty of damage.
  • The main strategy is to attack with Mienshao and Hawlucha (when you can), and keeping them alive by either bouncing them back to your hand or putting a Focus Sash on either of them.
  • Do not be affraid to play Focus Sash on your important Pokémon even when they are on your bench, especially on your Mienfoo and Mienshao. Becuase you can bounce it back to your hand and change the equip later.
  • A good trick is to have two Mienfoo active early, this way you can play your Mienshao every turn and bounce them back. While using Robo Substitute and Hawlucha with Focus Sash as active sacrifices.
