Hello Nurglings!

Hello my Nurglings!

It’s been awhile now, and it’s mostly because of the holidays, nothing happens and everything happens at the same time. Many sites that usually release plenty of news takes a hold and one is busy with family and shopping.

I hope you all had a great Christmas out there no matter where you live in the world and that you received some sweet gifts, and if you did not get any gifts. I hope you had a calm and sweet time for some soul searching.

All I wanted to say really is that the blog is back in business now for a few days until a short break around new years. So, cya soon Nurglings.

Until next time, take care!

Nerd Calendar – 21th – Soft Christmas Gifts for the nerd/geek!

Hello my Nurglings!

Time for another Christmas Gift special. This one is a bit late I know, Christmas is soon upon us but even if you don’t buy any of these as Christmas gifts, you could always buy them later for a birthday or just a sweet special gift to your girlfriend/boyfriend.

And the special is: Soft Gifts!

Yes I know, most nerds out there want to get hard gifts (laugh it off… there we go), like games, games and more games, and other stuff they can use for their games. No that is not completely true but for some people I bet it is. So what can you get for this anti-soft-gift person? Well, I got a list.

1. Pikachu Hoodie
For who: Her or Him.
Price: ~ 70$
Why: Well every nerd (no not every but most nerds) love Pokémon. I would say it’s safer to give it to a girl, because it’s so darn cute!

2. Turtles Pilot Hat
For who: Him.
Price: ~ 15$
Why: Cause guys love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Make sure they watched/read it when they were kids though.

3. Plushies, plushies and more plushies!
For who: Anyone!
Price: ~ 5$ – 50$ (Depending on size and rarity and what not).
Why: We all had something to hold on too when we were kids, was it a blanket or a teddy. Now when we’re grown up, it’s not as cool to have a teddy in your bed. But when you make it a plushie from one of your favorite themed games or movies, it’s awesome!

4. I love my Geek T-shirt.
For who: Her… but from her?
Price: ~17$
Why: Well this is a sweet gift but should almost be bought in pairs. Or by you to show that you love your boyfriend / girlfriend even if he/she is a geek. It’s a cute thing to wear and I’d believe your partner would love to see you in it if he/she truly is a “geek”.

5. Geek Love T-Shirt
For who: The geeky couple
Price: ~ 22$
Why: This is awesome! Stand further than 5 meters from each other and the life bar is half-lit, stand closer to together and it fills up to full health! Wow this is just amazingly cute, awesome and sweet at the same time.

Hope you enjoyed a few of the gifts. And if you want to know where to find them, here is a few sites where you can find these products:

Until next time, take care.

Nerd Calendar – 17th – Board game gifts for Christmas!

Hello my Nurglings!

Guess what, it’s only seven more days until Christmas. Yup, and if you just realized that maybe it’s time for you to get some last minute presents… or any presents for that matter! So what if you have a nerdy boyfriend/girlfriend or a not so nerdy relative that you would like to buy something special for. You still don’t want to go over your budget so you like around for some cheap gifts that are still fun to give away.

Well here is a list for you.
Cheap (compared to many other things) and fun nerdy gifts to give away!
In no particular order.

1. Zombie Dice
Who wants it: The Zombie lover
Cost: ~ 13$

Zombie dice is a small game that is easily transportable and you can play it almost anywhere. The goal of the game is to collect points by killing of zombies, and avoid being eaten along the way. It’s quick, it sweet and brings you some zombie inspired dice.

2. Munchkin

Who wants it: People with a sense of humor
Cost: ~20$

Munchkin is a simple card game that is fast and easy to learn for anyone. It comes with a bunch of humor and several different version that fits different people. Like Zombie Munchkin or Cthuhlu Munchkin.

3: DotCard
Who wants it: Anyone that enjoy UNO or Domino.
Cost: ~ 12$ – 30$ (12$for just the deck, around 30 for a sweet (fake) leather case).

DotCard is a card game that plays a lot like UNO but with a strong Domino theme. The game is easy to learn and anyone can sit down and enjoy it. Kids will enjoy the simple game play and older players will enjoy the strategy behind it. Perfect for any family or somebody that just enjoys gaming.

4: Carcassonne
Who wants it: Anyone! (After they’ve played it).
Cost: ~ 25$

Pick up a tile, place it on the board, expand the map and place your followers in different spaces to gain points. Count the points when the tiles run out to see who wins. Just as simple it is to learn, it is to play and love! This is a game that game lovers and novices both enjoy playing. Some people may not enjoy the simple look of the game, but as soon as you get passed that, you see that there’s a great game under it.

Well hope you enjoyed the list. If you see something that’s interesting, go look it up for reviews and more information about. I hardly touched the surface of these games and they deserve more than just a few lines of text.

Until next time, take care.
