Yu Gi Oh – Tour Bus From The Underworld – Effect

Hello my Nurglings!

So Tour Bus From The Underworld does this:

Tour Bus From The Underworld
Dark/Fiend – Effect / 3 / 1000 / 1000
When this card is sent to the Graveyard: Target 1 monster in either player’s graveyard, except “Tour Bus From The Underworld”; shuffle that target into the Deck.

So no need to panic, just shill and play the game that already have plenty of “broken” cards to concern yourself about. ^^

Until next time, take care.
Cya soon!

PS: Yea I know it’s been known for awhile but I was on a brake dudes.

YCS Brighton – Lennart Diaz (Disaster Dragon) vs. Andrea Caruso (Monarchs)

Hello my Nurglings!

YCS Brighton is taking place as we speak! And some of my local players whent there to kick some ass! Or get there ass kicked… but right now one of them (named Jack Bruun) is actually in the top 32! This means he will go for day 2 if he wins one more round, awesome! Another one got a feature match in the 7th round, and I thought I would share that with you all.

Here:

We’re nearing the end of Day 1 here at YCS Brighton and several Duelists still have a chance of making Day 2. 2 of those are Sweden’s Lennart Diaz, and Italy’s Andrea Caruso. Diaz is running Disaster Dragon while Caruso has updated the Frog Monarch Deck we last saw him use at YCS Milan a year ago. Both of these Duelists are x-1 at the moment, and need a win to imprive their Day 2 (and playoff) chances, so let’s see how this one develops!

Can Diaz’s Disaster Dragons devastate Caruso’s crafty Monarchs?

Diaz opened the Duel with Thunder King Rai-Oh, and 1 Set Spell or Trap.

Caruso started his turn with Mystical Space Typhoon, destroying his opponent’s copy. He Summoned Swap Frog, sent Treeborn Frog to the Graveyard and returned Swap Frog to his hand. He then discarded another Treeborn Frog to Special Summon the Swap Frog, sending Ronintoadin to the Graveyard. Finally, Caruso banished Treeborn Frog from his Graveyard to Summon Ronintoadin, and added Swap Frog back to his hand once again.

Diaz made no plays on his turn.

Caruso brought back Treeborn Frog during the Standby Phase and Normal Summoned Swap Frog, sending another Swap Frog to the Graveyard before returning the on-field copy to his hand.

Diaz attacked with Thunder King Rai-Oh and destroyed Treeborn Frog in battle before Setting a Spell or Trap.

Caruso Summoned Treeborn Frog again, then used Heavy Storm to destroy Solemn Warning. He tributed Treeborn to Summon Caius the Shadow Monarch, banishing Thunder King Rai-Oh and attacking directly. In Main Phase 2 he played Monster Reborn on Swap Frog to send another Treeborn Frog to the Graveyard. He sent Caius back to his hand with Swap Frog’s effect and Xyz Summoned Gachi Gachi Gantetsu.

Diaz played Pot of Duality, revealing Gold Sarcophagus, Solemn Judgment and Gorz the Emissary of Darkness, adding the Sarcophagus to his hand before using it to banish Future Fusion for 2 turns.

Caruso Summoned Treeborn Frog and then Swap Frog sending Dupe Frog to the Graveyard. Swap Frog attacked directly for 1400 points of damage before returning to Caruso’s hand yet again.

Diaz passed, knowing Caruso has the Caius to banish any of his monsters.

Caruso Normal Summoned Swap Frog and attacked before returning it again. “Frogger” was working overtime today!

Diaz activated Future Fusion! He sent 2 Red-Eyes Wyvern, 2 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and a Koa’ki Meiru Drago to the Graveyard, with Five-Headed Dragon on the way in 2 turns time. He then played Gold Sarcophagus to banish Monster Reborn. In the End Phase, Diaz banished Red-Eyes Wyvern and Caruso responded with Maxx “C”. Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon was Summoend and Caruso drew a free card.

Caruso Tributed Treeborn Frog for Caius again, banishing Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and attacking directly to seal the Duel!

Swap Frog puts the hard work in to give Caruso the lead!

Andrea Caruso has been running the same Deck for long enough to know everything about it!

Diaz opted to go first in Duel 2 and did so with Koa’ki Meiru Drago, setting a backrow and revealing Red-Eyes Wyvern in the End Phase to keep the Drago on the field.

Caruso Normal Summoned Treeborn Frog and then played Swap Frog! Both Duelists exchanged monsters and Drago attacked Frog, dealing some damage before going to the Graveyard (there’s no Dragon-Types in Caruso’s Deck).

Diaz Summoned another Koa’ki Meiru Drago and attacked directly.

Caruso used Soul Exchange to Tribute Drago and Summon Raiza the Storm Monarch, sending the Set Debunk to the top of Diaz’s Deck but getting banished by the other Set card (Bottomless Trap Hole).

Diaz Summoned Red-Eyes Wyvern and attacked directly before Setting 2 Spells or Traps.

Caruso activated Heavy Storm, destroying Debunk and Torrential Tribute. He Set a monster and called it a turn.

Diaz attacked with into the Set Ronintoadin, and neither monster was destroyed.

Caruso tried to Summon Treeborn Frog, but Debunk negated its effect and banished it from the Graveyard. Ronin was Tributed so Caruso could Summon Caius the Shadow Monarch, which banished Red-Eyes Wyvern and attack.

Diaz Set a monster and a Spell or Trap Card on his turn.

Caruso Tributed his Caius the Shadow Monarch for another one, and banished the Set Exploder Dragon. Caius scored a direct attack as a result.

Diaz Set the Call of the Haunted he drew.

Caruso attacked, but Diaz used Call of the Haunted to Summon Koa’ki Meiru Drago and stay alive! Caius took it down and in Main Phase 2 he Summoned Swap Frog, sending Treeborn Frog before returning to his hand.

Diaz Set the card he drew.

Caruso Summoned Treeborn Frog and lost it to Chain Disappearance, all 3 copies were now banished. That didn’t matter though as Caruso Summoned Swap Frog and attacked for game!

Andrea Caruso wins 2-0!

Until next time, take care.

Nerd Calendar – 1st – Christmas Lego Yoda

Hello my Nurglings!

And happy first December to you! The next 24 days I will be posting something very Christmas-e and nerd-ish every day. The idea just popped in to my head, so this very first day may not be so fun. But as I always say: it’s something!

I will try and find better and more fun stuff to show the days to come, I promise! For now:

Until next time, take care!

A slowdown in Yu Gi Oh duel videos!

Hello my Nurglings!

I got some bad news for you and some good ones if you never really liked the Yu Gi Oh duels that were up on my YouTube. The local store where I record these duels has canceled their Yu Gi Oh range of products, and with that, also stopped having Yu Gi Oh tournaments. This slows everything down that has to do with duel videos.

In the past I recorded 3 or 4 duels at every tournament and uploaded them through the week until next one where I had the chance to record more and so on. This is not really possible now with this change, at least not in the same speed as in the past… sadly. I had finally gotten it rolling with recording and uploading the duels, so it’s a setback for sure.

So what will happen now? I will try and meet up with Yu Gi Oh players and record proper best of 3 games to put up. But it will not be as often as before.

Well now you know…

Until next time, take care.
