Magic The Gathering Standard Deck – Skeleton Sword

Hello my Nurglings!

Time for another of my decks to rise and shine and then crash to the ground when you playtest them. Unlike most decks I post on here this may be a bit expensive to get your hands on but I bet you can come up with cheaper cards to trade em out with.

The deck is a blue black control deck named: Skeleton Sword. A sweet name to go with one of the key cards in the deck: Reassembling Skeleton! This is one of three creatures in the deck, joining sides with Snapcaster Mage and Invisible Stalker. I bet you already know what the sword part of the name stands for, yup, all the new Mirrodin swords.

The creatures:12
4x Reassembling Skeleton
4x Snapcaster Mage
4x Invisible Stalker

The deck is simple, it’s a heavy control deck with plenty of counter spells and a few removals to control the game, you do this while one of your small dudes, keep hitting away on your opponents life with one or more sword equipped to it.

The spells:
4x Mana Leak
4x Dissipate
4x Think Twice
4x Forbidden Alchemy
2x Black Sun Zenith

The artifacts:
2x Sword of Feast and Famine
1x Sword of Body and Mind
2x Sword of War and Peace

The lands:
2x Buried Ruin
2x Nephalia Drownyard
4x Drowned Catacomb
4x Darkslick Shores
5x Swamp
8x Island

Until next time, take care.
Cya soon!

  1. Inga removals?
kan va bra att lägga in typ: 2 Doomblades, 1 Tribute to Hunger och 1 Go for the Throat eller?
Hade nog cuttat Alechemy för removals, men det kan va bara jag.
Annars så ser det ut som ett nice rough bygge 🙂
